Pleased doesn't quite express how I feel about my latest second-hand two cameras, I am actually so pleased that I am not thinking of upgrading any time soon. Working the other way they can be used to have very tight focus on the subject and the background almost faded out using the same three controls making close-up work with, a small depth of field, enhance the subject perfectly.Īs in the heading I have now bought a second a350 to make switching to different focal lengths quicker than just changing lenses I just swap over the cameras. I see others giving all the specs and pros and cons for camera reviews but I do tend to use manual settings for many subject s and the variation of speed control, aperture and ISO control gives a far greater depth of field and the sharpness can be phenomenal on the a350 making images of views perfect. The grip and double batteries make it a little heavier but the overall firmness of the grip means I can get some steady shots even at a low speed. The a350 can be enhanced with a portrait grip and double batteries to make the shooting sessions twice as long. I have painful and unsteady hands and my rip need larger cameras to be able to grip them firmly. ![]() I have been using Sony cameras for years now and each new model has later advances in technology and the a350 proved to be absolutely right for me. I retired a while back and rekindled my hobby of photography, obtaining a better quality camera by buying and selling each model as soon as I could afford a better one.
